Common Sense for Windsor
Matthew Giancola is a strong conservative believer in community and prosperity for Windsor. He envisions a Windsor that thrives with tourism, recreation, employment, health, and heart. He has over 18 years of experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors as a director, manager, and operations supervisor. Matthew is a family man, and has a university education and work experience in social work, politics and public administration. Above all, he is a leader with a strong backbone and a caring heart.
Matthew's Message for Windsor
I am campaigning against high energy costs, tariffs, high taxes, substance use, crime, and homelessness neglect. I want to encourage protection of the vulnerable, protect parental rights, and improve medical autonomy. This includes expanding services for children, expecting mothers, suicide prevention, and alternatives to medical assistance in dying.
Finally, I have a vision for this city. I want to restore small business and manufacturing prosperity. I want to improve tourism and attract investors by expanding and improving our infrastructure, public transit, community events, parks and recreation. I want our automotive and gaming industries to thrive again. I want our city to be more enjoyable and vibrant. I want our streets, school zones, parks and riverfront to be well lit and with improved safety. I want more community events that celebrate Canadian culture and identity. I want to restore and repurpose aging structures and spaces. I want to improve disability services, mental health services and family services. I want our public libraries to expand, and increase access to professional-level technology and materials. Above all, I want to restore truth, justice, community, honesty and integrity in provincial politics. We need these changes in Windsor.
